An editorial list of Canadian marketing, branding, and design agencies whose work we've followed. This is not a paid directory, a membership list, or a vetted certification program — these are simply agencies we're aware of and willing to point Canadian businesses toward when relevant. Descriptions are drawn from each agency's own public marketing material. If you're a Canadian business owner looking for a referral that matches your situation, request marketing help here and we'll suggest one or two names.

How to use this list
This isn't a ranking — it's a reference. The agencies here were selected because their work is publicly visible, their specialties are distinct, and they're based in Canada. If you're looking for a particular type of agency for a specific kind of project, this is a starting point, not a final answer.
If you're a Canadian business owner who isn't sure which type of agency you need — or whether you need an agency at all — tell us what's going on and we'll point you in the right direction. There's no charge for the guidance.
What to look for when evaluating a Canadian agency
Finding the right agency is mostly about fit. A few things worth checking before you get on a call:
- Relevant portfolio work. Have they done something like your project before? Case studies with before/after context are more useful than logo walls.
- Team size relative to your budget. A 30-person agency with minimum engagements of $10,000/month is unlikely to be a good fit for a $2,000/month retainer — and vice versa.
- Who will actually work on your account. Senior people close the sale; sometimes junior people do the work. Ask directly who your day-to-day contact will be.
- Communication cadence. Monthly report decks, real-time Slack channels, and weekly calls are very different operating modes. Make sure it matches how you like to work.
- Contract terms. Look at minimum commitment lengths, exit clauses, and what assets or account access you retain if you leave.
Questions to ask before you sign
These separate agencies that understand your situation from agencies that are good at selling:
- What does success look like at 90 days, and how will we measure it?
- What part of this scope do you handle in-house versus subcontract?
- Can I see examples of work you've done for a business similar to mine?
- Who owns the ad accounts, website, or content assets if we part ways?
- What's your off-boarding process if the engagement isn't working?

Frequently asked questions
Do these agencies pay to be listed here?
No. This is an editorial list, not a paid directory. There is no fee, application, or vetting process. Agencies are listed because we're aware of their work and willing to reference them. Listings can be added or removed at any time.
Do you get a referral fee when I contact an agency through this page?
We may earn a referral fee if you contact an agency through our Get Help form and engage them. We don't earn anything from direct clicks on the agency links on this page. See our About page for a full explanation of how we make money.
Can I suggest an agency for this list?
Contact us with the agency name and a brief note on what they do. We don't guarantee inclusion, and we don't take payment for it.
What if none of these agencies fit what I need?
This list skews toward branding, design, and digital marketing and doesn't cover every niche or budget. If you have a specific need that isn't represented here, describe your situation and we'll do our best to point you toward a Canadian agency that handles it.
These agencies are listed here on an editorial basis. We don't run a paid directory, a vetting program, or a certification. Listings can be added or removed by the operator at any time. Inclusion isn't an endorsement of any specific engagement — always do your own diligence before signing a contract.
